Intro to Stained Glass – Patrick Mahoney

Level: Beginner

Patrick Mahoney will teach the fundamentals of stained glass construction. Including: project layout, glass cutting and grinding, copper foiling, soldering, framing, cleaning, and waxing. Due to the limited hours we have to learn and construct your piece, he would like to limit the amount of pieces of glass in your pattern to a maximum of 18 pieces. We are not trying to make your dream piece in this class, what we are trying to do is to give you the skills to build your dream piece. Patrick is a professional stained glass artist who is passionate about keeping this art form alive.

5 Thursdays, 10/3/24 – 10/31/24, 9am-12pm

5 Thursdays, 11/14/24 – 12/19/24, 9am-12pm. No class 11/28.

Cost: $280 Member / $330 Non-Member

Tuition covers use of tools, consumables & basic colors of glass. If you are experienced you may opt for a 2 sq. ft. project. Projects over this size – $30 per sq. ft. Basic supply fee included in tuition.
