Andrew Collins Trio

The Andrew Collins Trio is a genre-defying acoustic ensemble centered on the extraordinary versatility of mandolin virtuoso Andrew Collins. Often featuring Adam Shier (guitar, mandolin, vocals) and James McEleney (bass, mandocello, vocals), the trio blends bluegrass, folk, jazz, classical, and Celtic influences, spawning a sound playfully dubbed “chambergrass.”

Winners of multiple Canadian Folk Music Awards, including Instrumental Group of the Year, and with five JUNO Award nominations, the trio has earned international acclaim for their virtuosic playing and adventurous compositions.
